MEET THE FOUNDER
Shahrukh Nadeem
Shahrukh Nadeem is the founder of Book Buddy, a Pakistani book and intellectual platform built to close the gap between information and understanding.
His work — including his book 100 Things Pakistan Needs to Do Before Turning 100 — has pushed thousands of readers to look at their country, and themselves, more honestly. Through community reading programs, public discussions, and now BookBuddy Academy, he has spent years building spaces where Pakistanis can read more, think deeper, and act with clarity.
“The goal isn't just to read more books, but to build a mind that thinks clearly about the world.”
Shahrukh Nadeem
What Book Buddy Stands For
Books started the conversation — but conversation alone wasn’t enough. We noticed a pattern: people who read regularly still struggled to think clearly, communicate confidently, or apply what they’d learned to real decisions. Reading was building interest, not always ability.
BookBuddy Academy was created to close that exact gap. Where our reading community sparked curiosity, the Academy gives it structure — courses built specifically for Pakistani students and young professionals to turn reading into thinking, and thinking into action, through a clear, guided path rather than trial and error.
