MEET THE FOUNDER
Shahrukh Nadeem
Shahrukh Nadeem is the founder of Book Buddy and Book Buddy Academy, and has spent the better part of his career building businesses, creating content, teaching, and exploring the ideas that shape how we think and live.
What started as a personal love for books grew into Book Buddy, a platform that has brought books, philosophy, psychology, business, and big ideas to millions of people across Pakistan and beyond. Through hundreds of videos, reading initiatives, public discussions, and conversations around ideas that matter, Shahrukh has worked to make learning more accessible and relevant to everyday life.
He is also the author of Readistan, a bestselling book of book summaries that grew out of his belief that good ideas should not remain locked inside books. The book has now reached its third edition, with additional chapters expanding its collection of ideas and insights from some of the world's most influential books.
His second book, 100 Things Pakistan Needs to Do Before Turning 100, takes that curiosity beyond books and into the country he calls home. Written over several years of research and reflection, the book puts forward 100 ideas and proposals for a better Pakistan, asking a simple but difficult question:
What do we need to change if we want a different future?
Alongside his work in media and publishing, Shahrukh has spent years in business and entrepreneurship. He has led technology companies, founded and built businesses, and taught entrepreneurship and new product development at universities. His experience sits at the intersection of business, education, content, and ideas.
Book Buddy Academy is the next chapter of that journey.
The Academy brings together what Shahrukh has learned from thousands of books, years of business experience, teaching, content creation, and conversations with people from different walks of life.
Its purpose is not simply to give people more information.
It is to help them think better, communicate better, build better careers and businesses, and become more intentional about the lives they are creating.
Because ultimately, learning only matters when it changes the way you see the world and the way you live in it.

What Book Buddy Stands For
Books were where it all started.
But over the years, we realized that simply reading more books doesn’t necessarily mean thinking better. People can read dozens of books and still struggle to make decisions, express themselves with confidence, understand complex ideas, or turn what they learn into something useful.
That gap is what led us to create Book Buddy Academy.
Book Buddy has always been about bringing good ideas to people. The Academy takes the next step: helping people actually use those ideas.
Our courses, werbinars, workshops and intellectually stimulating seminars are designed for Pakistani students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone who wants to grow beyond simply collecting information. We take ideas from books, philosophy, psychology, business, and real-world experience and turn them into practical learning that can be understood, questioned, and applied.
Because the goal was never to create people who have read more books.
The goal is to create people who think better, communicate better, make better decisions, and take action.
